Every inch of this reclaimed wood end table celebrates the beauty of salvaged wood. Knots, grain shifts, and timeworn textures tell their own stories. Special care was taken to highlight the natural movement in each board. With every glance, you’ll notice something new.

Chunky Charlie was handcrafted using authentic 100-year-old barn boards from my family farm, which is still in operation today. Salvaged pallet boards from dozens of work sites add another layer of history. Rough-sawn pine sourced from a mule ranch in Wisconsin completes the mix. It’s a table with roots, character, and a story worth telling.

Each surface was carefully sanded to an almost silky-smooth finish. This process reveals the wood’s breathtaking imperfections without erasing its past. The result feels warm, tactile, and inviting. This reclaimed wood end table doesn’t just sit in a room—it draws people in and sparks conversation.

Because this piece is made from solid, reclaimed wood, it continues to respond naturally to its surroundings. Over time, the wood gently adjusts to the moisture levels in your home. Subtle movement or slight shrinkage may occur along the tabletop. I allow the wood time to stabilize before assembly to reduce these changes. Even so, small shifts may still happen as the table settles into its new space. These marks of change are not flaws. They are part of the story.
