There are so many beautiful imperfections in all the salvaged wood pieces! Special care was taken to beautifully highlight the gorgeous movement in each piece of wood. Every time you look at the table you will notice something new.
This piece was handcrafted with authentic 100 year old barn boards from my family farm (which is still operational!), salvaged pallet boards from dozens of work sites and beautiful rough sawn pine from a mule ranch in Wisconsin. How’s that for history and a good story?!?
Each surface has been sanded to an almost silky smooth finish to show off the breathtaking “imperfections” that will make this piece the center of attention and get the conversation started at any gathering. Just imagine it in your own home!

Over time, wood stabilizes with the moisture content of the room in which is it displayed. This process may result in some shrinkage along the top of the table. To minimize this effect, I allow time for the wood to stabilize before assembling the pieces. Even so, there may be some additional movement in the wood over time as it acclimates to your home. Every table that I create is an unique piece of art, and I believe this stabilization process along with the natural variations in color and aging appearance adds to the intrinsic charm of these distressed pieces.
